Only works if she finds you attractive. If not you can pull back all you want and you will never hear from her again. At the end of the day, it's always down to rules 1 and 2, nothing else really matters

This is only possible if a women has feelings of attraction towards you, without attraction she does not care if you distance yourself or not

I had to cut things with a girl I was seeing because she still had feelings for her ex. I have no idea if what i did will bring her back one day, but i know that being a plan B is not a good option.

This only works if you are relatively attractive/high status etc. And according to my experience, 9/10 girls dont chase you that much whatever you do.

However you need to tell us of this applies to a relationship phase or in the beginning phases of dating. I mean , later in relationship phase isn’t good for women to know you care so they don’t lose passion attraction and motive to invest in the relationship?
