I'm Brazilian, and my favorite midfielder of all time is this guy!

Game looks so easy for him. I forgot how fast he was, always pass + the run into space. He was brilliant for Spurs and it’s crazy his running AC Milan at 40 years old after destroying Europe for 10+ years in Madrid. What a career.

Babino dite. Ne rađa se ovakav doktor nogometa svaki dan. A u početku su ga potcjenjivali svi, sada mu se klanjaju, kako i treba. Luka, živ mi bio još 100 godina, puno zdravlja ti želim i sreće u životu. Respekt.

Yes he has technical brilliance. But he made it easy by getting to the into the best and most crucial spaces at a high volume. Proper midfielder

He is the player that's not in the statistics because he is the statistic. This video should be example to youngsters what it means when player runs the show. He will score sometimes and 90% are eurogoals from outside and he will assist sometimes but he is mainly king of the midfield playing in the most dangerous zone if you lose the ball, pulling strings and he can defend pretty good cause he reads the game before everyone else. Maestro, it was a pleasure and joy to watch your career

Modric and Bale were a big part of me becoming a Spurs fan.... then we lost them both to Real. That was painful.
