I admire this plant...... it survived a wildfire, which took my house, but the plant survived!!! It grows along a retaining wall, and is shelter
for many species, with berries for the winter.

I have planted more than 20,000 trees and this plant disfigures and or kills my trees unless I control it. Controlling it on that many trees is a huge job every year. It does however keep a house much cooler during hot weather if allowed to cover a stucco wall and in my opinion looks nice on a stucco wall.

If it grows where I don't want it, leaves marks on my wall, and I can't eat it, it's a weed

Its actually five and white keep out of sight. Five leaves ,white blooms. It does have a poison irritant in the summer .pull bare handed and it will convince you. Lady i know discovered it when she got broken out from it.Never have seen any berries on the vine . I think your talking about something else and that the confusion.
The nurseries Virginia creeper is much larger and very dark leaves, and doesnt irritate your skin.
And again The Old saying is five and white keep out of sight.
Not as strong as poison ivy .. leaves of three let it be.

Uummm, why the AI slop? You have a decent subject and now I have no idea how much is invented and what was correct. Damn, you couldn't even match the narration to the video talking head.
