Awesome!  Great musicians are great listeners...and great at leaving space for others in the group...too bad our whole world is not like this.

I love the insight of realizing the third LP is actually the first.

Thorn Tree in the Garden is exquisite. When I read that it was about someone giving your dog away it made sense why the song was so heartbreakingly poignant. Beautiful songwriting and beautiful vocal, Bobby. It’s my favorite track on Layla. Ps I’m from Memphis. You have represented us well among those brilliant Brits. Your talent is IMMENSE.

Bobby is such a literal gem of a humble human being. What a wonderfully brilliant historian of so many highly creative and supremely talented musicians, as well as countless episodes of recording, or simply hanging out visits and jamming from an era never to be repeated. What an amazing, detailed memory he is gifted with. May you and Coco be blessed with good health and many more years together.

I dig Eric's first album, remember listing to it on my first moble top load cassette in my VW bug on the way to my girlfriends house. With my bell bottom blues on in the rain.
