The green Aston is crazy. I actually saw it driving around Austin a few months ago and it’s unbelievable that it was stolen.

It seems there was a high-profile incident involving a yellow Lamborghini Urus in Texas in early 2022, where multiple suspects led police on a chase after gunshots were reportedly heard. The incident took place in Houston near South Loop 610, where officers saw a yellow Lamborghini speeding away after hearing gunfire. The driver refused to stop, leading to a police pursuit, and ultimately, the vehicle suffered tire damage after hitting a curb.

Four suspects were arrested following this chase. However, more specific details on the gunfire or additional context about this incident remain limited in public records.

I think the a pillar thing and console panel lift is to do with the key fob antenna for the keyless start as that is where they are often located. In the UK many theft happen outside the owners home with keyless start using a lap top and antenna booster. It picks up the key inside the house and boosts it to the car and off they go in 30 seconds. We keep our keys in special pouches but tin foil is the same or put your keys in the microwave at night

The A piler is popped because they are extending the reach of the antenna, one guy is all the way uo to the home of the owner to pick up the signal from the correct key which is then set to a device a guy inside the car is using to start it. Once they have that key code and the car running they take off and make a new key.

So interesting to see so many of the same car, stolen the same way... Valedictorians like Hellcats. I'd be terrified to drive one in 'certain' cities. Being carjacked once is enough for me.
