A Space Wolf, a Salamander, and a Raven Guard would make the core of a cool Deathwatch squad.

I will always remember how a Salamander schooled an Iron Hand, about their own moto, "The flesh is weak, but deeds endure"!

The Alpha Legion is so secretive and confusing that even Tzeentch is totally confused.
Everyone is basically Alpharius, posing as Omegon, who is posing as Alpharius, who thinks he is Omegon but is a sleeper Agent faking Alpharius, who is actually Omegon, who is posing as Alpharius, but that's also a lie in the end.

Some random tidbits about the Space Wolves, because I love 'em:

1. They have Bjorn the Fell-Handed, the oldest space marine in the Imperium (10,000+ years old), entombed in a Dreadnought (the big boxy "robots"). He hates being worshipped by mortals, he hates being woken up from his 100+ year long naps, he hates being constantly denied a glorious death. When asked by a mortal if he truly walked during the Age of the Emperor, this venerated near saint-like being responded "Walked? Walked, ran, pissed and killed, I did it all!" and then he got tired and mad when they fell to their knees before him, he hates kneeling too.

2. Bricky kinda undersold just how loyal the Space Wolves are, after the First War of Armageddon, the Space Wolves were informed by the Inqusition that the mortal troops of the Imperial Guard that had fought at their side were to be exterminated as they had witnessed things the Inquisiton didn't want to be known. The Space Wolves were offended by this as they viewed the mortals as brave allies, so the Space Wolves shielded the Imperial Guard transport ships with their own ships, and when the Inquisiton opened fire the Space Wolf fleet simply endured the bombardment without returning fire until the transports had warp jumped away. This started a small civil war that lasted months.

3. They got a genetic mutation that can turn them into werewolves called Wulfen, they're all at risk of becoming one at any moment if they fail or stop fighting their violent urges. If they turn, its permanent and they become borderline mindless beasts... in power armour.

The World Eaters legion had the largest amount of loyalist during the drop site massacre.

Even with the nails they were still loyal to the Emperor.

War Hounds are forever loyal.

Imperial Fists are bright yellow so you can see whats coming for you and despair. Also never attack a fortress held by banana boys.

The 4th legion (Iron Warriors) in a nutshell is basically they're that one guy in the group project that is an absolute horrible person to interact with, but that one guy is also the one solo carrying that group project and will get you an easy A.
They're not your friend, they're the guy you want if you want work to get done

Bro said he liked the Raven Guard and the Salamanders, you throw in the Iron Hands and you have the basis for a solid Shattered Legions fan.

During the heresy, all three of those legions got decimated in one horrible, treacherous attack, and they spent the remainder of the Heresy basically fighting together. They’re all still some of the smallest chapters out there because of it.
