  After spending a career inside a manufacturing plant the WiiM sounds fine to me 🤷🏻‍♂️ easy to use and does what I need. WiiM - Cambridge CD Player - Outlaw 2220's - Cerwin Vega AT 10's - no sub and very good for my home setup.

  I did same comparison at the store. I chose Wiim ultra as sounds more natural. I don't want a bright hyped up sound. Eversolo I agree was a bit more open and had bigger sound with stronger  bass. But the unnatural mins and highs negate that. Interesting in future compare to Rivo+, Lumin or Hi Fi Rose. Almost thought  of getting Rivo but my buddies say Wiim app probably  more stable. Also, the Eversolo was the latest Gen 2.

  I couldn't hear a difference at all in either demo. At 4 times the price that's saying something

  Differences using an external dac could have been the connection as well. I recommend the USB connection. I had the Eversolo A8 and switched to the Wiim + a Chord Qutest and I'm quite happy. I even test listened to a much more expensive Atoll STA300 for a while and preferred the Wiim Chord combo over that. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

  I <i>desire</i> to be able to hear differences in A/B comparisons and have tried several comparisons in my own setups. &nbsp;Unfortunately (or fortunately?), I have GREAT trouble identifying noticeable differences even between very expensive equipment vs inexpensive. &nbsp;I have given in to the idea different people hear differently. &nbsp;Even so, I can&apos;t help but wonder if those who claim they can hear significant differences are actually hearing quite minor differences. &nbsp;Or, being able to identify minor differences IS significant for some and not for others like me. &nbsp;I think it&apos;s the latter. &nbsp;Good talk 😀

  If could put Tower speakers in my living / great room I would go SVS Ultra Evolution Titans in piano white. All those Ultras Evolutions are a work of art.

  Use a wiim ultra @ 2 Aiyima A20 with 2 10v power supply at &nbsp;a Aiyima t20 Preamp and a Shanling CR60 cd transporter. Sounds great👍

  The Eversolo with the Linear power supply (mk2 ) is also a bit better than the original Eversolo but it is also subtle .

  A few days ago, I put a downpayment on a pair of forever speakers, Audel Magika Plus, hand-built in Sicily. &nbsp;I get them sometime towards the end of the month. &nbsp;I wish the exchange rate was more like Canada&apos;s rather than Europe&apos;s, though!
