  I go to the Efteling multiple times a year, for my entire life already. When I was young, I&apos;ve even been multiple times a week. And still, after 30 years, when I hear the music, I want to go again!

  I was at the point of going to bed when I saw you posted another vlog of your visit to the Efteling and I just wanted to look at it before going to sleep.   The reason the fata morgana animatronics look dated its because its not electronic robots. Its all moved by an Efteling patented system of wooden wheels and air pressure. The wooden wheels edges got cut in a certain pattern to match movement they wanted. Then when in operation an arm moves along the spinning wheels. Each time the arm moves up or down, because of the edge shape, the air pressure in the tube changes and makes an part of the attraction move. Its an weird system but under the floor of fata morgana are hundreds of wooden wheels turning and moving everything above ground.
