  Iranian here, there are millions of us who have the means, resources and capability to bring our homeland back to first world status and then beyond. Iran is the home of polymathy, we have geniuses and specialists galore. A free Iran is a massive contribution to the future of humanity, not just Iranians.

  I was at an International University in 1979 during the Iranian Revolution. &nbsp;Tragic for those students. &nbsp;So many friends who couldn’t go back. &nbsp;I’ve been waiting 47 years for this chance. &nbsp;Hope it all works out.

  Farzad, I absolutely loved this video. You always bring such interesting and thoughtful perspectives.<br><br>I just wanted to share that I’m an American who is probably a handful of years older than your parents. When I was in college at California Institute of the Arts, I roomed with a wonderful Iranian woman whose father had been one of the Shah’s lawyers. Through her and her family, I had my first glimpse into Iranian culture and the long, rich history of Persia.<br><br>When the Shah left and Khomeini took power, I had already lost contact with her, but I remember feeling a deep sadness about what was happening in Iran and worrying for her and her family’s safety. Years later I was relieved to learn that she was alive and likely living in Europe.<br><br>You were absolutely right to share some of Persia’s extraordinary history with your audience. It is such a deep and beautiful civilization, and I truly hope the people of Iran will one day be able to see their country flourish again—free, prosperous, and able to build on that incredible legacy.<br><br>If that future unfolds in a spirit of openness and humanity, I believe Iran could reach heights beyond anything it has achieved before. And as you said, this moment in history—arriving alongside the rise of AI—could create possibilities that previous generations could hardly imagine.<br><br>My hope for the whole world is that humanity learns to place compassion and understanding above ideological divisions of any kind. When that happens, nations and cultures are free to blossom into their very best expressions.<br><br>I sincerely hope for a future where the Iranian people are free to thrive and share the richness of their culture with the world again.
