One great detail that DEFINES the Skaven is how their disunity showed: the Black Death was actually designed to not harm the Skaven and only harm the humans (as Pestilens showed in real time how in a cage that had both Skaven and human slaves and only the human dies when exposed to the plague) but Nurglitch number 2, one of the chief designers of the plage, felt slighted and "improved" the Black Death to also affect Skaven. After Nurglitch survived an assasination attempt he got so pissed he IMMIEDATELY unleshed the "improved" plague on the Skaven he claimed from his Number 2 who tried to kill him then.

The fact that Skaven don't wipe themselves out is that they hate everyone else just a tiny bit more than they hate each other. Just a tiny bit though, so tiny that they can always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory no matter the odds.

The skaven killed off 90% of the empire through plague famine and war yet still lost.
There’s a reason the rat men never really came back out in force after Manfreds reign

One of the few believable things in the End Times is how easily the Vermintide decimated the surface world. Nothing can truly defeat the Skaven if they ever form a semblance of unity. Maybe a full blown Chaos invasion, but I wouldn't put it past the rats to invent some sort of insane wonder superweapon that chews a hole into the Chaos Realms.
Which will kill about 10 million skaven but that's a win-win in my book-scroll, yes-yes.

Fun fact, sewerjack/sewer watch were made by Manfred, idea itself imported from Tilea and Estalia where they existed for centuries, created by Myrmidia, only Empire’s version made them also secret brotherhood fighting the skaven and likely source of the Conspiracy of Silence, probably created by the Manfred himself

Thank you for watching! This episode was an absolute delight to make! Although it required a lot of more work due to the Unreal Engine animations. Let me know if you enjoyed those and if you liked this particular format. My plan is to make more of these 3D animations to present to you some lore sections, in an attempt to shake things up and bring you guys a fresh storytelling format.

Special thanks to Adam, Skrubasauras,, Guillo and Anna who made the voices for this particular episode. Let me know in the comments which part you enjoyed the most and what other topics could we explore.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback on this one!
Cheers!
