The person who said Iran has a 2,500-year history was mistaken. One of the Iranian civilizations dates back to around 9,000 BC. The 2,500 years refers only to the age of Persepolis, and even the Achaemenid Empire itself is older than 2,500 years.❤

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Iran ... what a stunning place. That church is breathtaking; I can’t believe how beautiful it is. It’s an absolute gem, a true masterpiece, and so wonderfully well preserved. Just wow.<br>I always knew the media misrepresented this country, but seeing this has gone far beyond my expectations. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many lovely Iranians during my time in Northern England, and they’ve been some of the most welcoming, warm, and fun-loving people I’ve ever met. I’m so glad you’re showing the world how beautiful this country really is. <3
