  Dr. Zorka - opposing the &quot;N - Double U - O&quot; in his day and time. No, he&apos;s not perfect, nor is he entirely altruistic in his motives - but he&apos;s still far better than they are. That&apos;s what makes the story so compelling, and his character somewhat sympathetic. I&apos;m convinced this is why they never actually show him getting killed at the end of the series, he&apos;s fallible yet forgivable as a character. Few actors of Bela Lugosi&apos;s stature could develop a complex part and character so evil and yet so beloved by discerning audiences everywhere. Rest in peace Bela Lugosi - you are truly one of the greats !
