  Edit: I made a mistake with the siege tank, Maelstrom doesn't change splash damage. Put it in S tier.

  One issue in considering Ultra Capacitors vs. Vanadium Plating that I've never heard mentioned anywhere (to my surprise): putting infantry in bunkers for defense is a fundamental Terran mechanic. Attack speed increase is great for bunkered infantry, while increased armor is irrelevant for them. That makes Ultra Capacitors even more the superior choice.

  A point in favor Shrike Turret: it adds a COOL turret on top of your bunkers for the rest of the campaign, so it's actually at least B tier because it is always good to look at your bunkers and feel good about how they look

You&apos;re telling me that not only does it only do mediocre damage overall, it costs a ton of energy AND funds, and is just outclassed by Yamato and autoattacks, but it deals friendly fire too!? Like, come on!

  Fun fact; Devil Dogs have the most HP of all biological Terran units (160), which means that with +2 base armor and upgraded medics, they are, by a considerable margin, the most durable bio units in the game. In particular, they are shockingly good at taking hits from units like Zerglings (duh), Hydralists, Zealots, and Marines.

  the banshee cloaking upgrade is also effectively faster energy regeneration, as one point of energy regenerated gets you twice the cloak duration. it is definitely much better than a one time injection of 100 energy

  An amusing thing about Blue-Flame Hellions is that TLO, a Starcraft 2 pro, had a !Blue-Flame command for his twitch chat when he was toying with mech. &nbsp;The command put his explanation that he doesn&apos;t get the upgrade while playing mech because his Hellions are going to kill zerglings anyways, so the gas is better spent on something else.

  I tend to like Auto gas over SCV reactor for missions like Supernova. Just being able to still get gas from your previously claimed bases before the fire wave comes through, or bases from around the map makes producing banshees and either vikings or wraiths as AA so much nicer given that Supernova is a flyer based mission. And one where you are consistently on the move.<br><br>Also on Cellular reactor, if you are not huge on spellcasters like the Raven and Ghost / Spectre, you still get huge bonuses from it from passive energy uses like the medic, medivac and Science Vessel. Alongside energy uses that only have one ability, like the banshee &amp; Wraith for cloak and the Cattlebruiser with Yamato (assuming you didn&apos;t get any of their armory upgrades). Banshee getting increased energy out of the gate + the upgrade that makes cloak cost fewer energy per second is a wonderful combo.
