Phenomenal content as always. Agree with the consensus in the comments that ai images are a net negative on the quality of the content. They feel uniquely out of place on your videos. This is legitimately the best channel producing content of this type, there is nothing else of the same caliber. That academic rigor and clean narration over a kinda goofy looking generated image is very jarring. If it’s a prep time thing just leave the last frame up, we won’t care

Not a huge fan of the AI images. I appreciate that you didn't have sources, and you clearly acknowledged its use, but just leaving the map up is probably better communication.

Small request for future videos - could you please add a compass to your maps? I get that rotating them can better show the battle lines, but it's tough for me to follow the movements described with cardinal directions while looking at a map that isn't pointing north.

Love the content as always, please keep it up!!

Top notch work, love the varied old and new maps. Have been reading up on Huertgen since late 90's, you really helped explain the terrain and difficulties well. In age of AI, making a mistake, losing voice temporarily is human and appreciated as well.

A British veteran of D-Day and a family friend recounted landing as sergent of a mortar platoon in a Bren Gun Carrier. His men asked him as bullets rained down on them "Sarge, are we going to die?". "Ee lads", he replied, "We've that much ammo on this thing, if we're hit we'll not know owt about it!"
