I miss my husband so MUCH, he died from the "Widowmaker" before his golden years, no retirement, no social security benefits, nothing but shattered dreams.

Thank you for your video. I lost my husband in May 2025 it been around 9 months now. We were 52 years married and 3 years we were courting. Its a great loss to me and even though friends and family give that emotional support it can be mind boggling as I keeping asking myself why did he have to leave me alone and go. Of course we all will have to leave this wonderful world sometime or the other but the love you have and the years you have with your loved one its hard to let go. I am watching a lot of Grief Loss and Hope videos and its so good to have people like you to lift us up and give us the support we need in our time.  I do appreciate all the help I get and its true we all grieve in our own way. God Bless you.

We always had holidays at our house. I was so relieved when someone else said they will do them from now on. But I didn't go to Thanksgiving. It's my first year of holidays. Husband passed away October right before Halloween.

On August 1st 1999 we lost our youngest son at 22 years old in a car accident. This past Labor Day our oldest son died of a heart attack at 50 years old while on a walk by his home, and on the 21st of February my wife of 54 years years died of ALS under my care along with hospice. So now at 73 years old it is just my granddaughter and I, and I am on this rollercoatser of compounded grief. For now I'll hold onto hope that life will get better.

Thank you for your video. I lost my husband to cancer two years ago. The first year there was lots of support but the second year all those who were helpful have disappeared. Even some family members. Like you mentioned they do not<br>Know what to say and I believe they want me back to my normal self. This is the new me finding my way as a widow. &nbsp; It is now me not us. It is different and I am looking forward letting those past relationships fade and am building new relationships. I am a positive person but even so it is a very different reality. ❤❤❤
