I don’t care what anyone says, those two first albums are killer! Listened them in my youth was like pure adrenaline pumped into my veins.

I was at Monsters of Rock in 1988. Saw it at the Silverdome in Pontiac Michigan. We were driving there in my buddys 1970 blue GTO. It overheated on the way there about four miles from the stadium. We got out and started jogging to the stadium. All the sudden, a car on the road yelled my name... it was another buddy of mine in the bsck seat on the way to the concert. The Silverdome held 80,000 people. We got in and packed their car to get the rest of the way to the stadium. My buddy in the car was on ecstasy. I hadn't heard of that. Others were on acid. Anyway, we banged our heads so much that concert our necks hurt the next day. I personally thought the Scorpions performance was the best. The concert was like 8 or 9 hours long. People were falling asleep or passing out. We never stopped rocking. What a memory and childhood.

Shout at the Devil is still one of my favorite albums. I had a private high school class where we had to recite a poem. I choose "In the Beginning" written by Nikki under the alias Allister Fiend. I own the album on CD and vinyl.

Still rockin today. Seen maybe 100 concerts in the past few years. Metallica at Ford Field in Detroit was awesome. Jazz, R&B, blues... it's all great. Morris Day was off the hook. Albert Castiglia.

In the beginning, good always overpowered the evils of all man's sins
But in time, the nations grew weak
And our cities fell to slums while evil stood strong
In the dusts of hell lurked the blackest of hates
For he who you fear awaits you
Now, many, many lifetimes later
Lay destroyed, beaten down, only the corpses of rebels
Ashes of dreams and blood stained streets
It has been written that those who have the youth, have the future
So, come now, children of the beast
Be strong and shout at the devil

There have been countless documentaries on Mötley Crüe over the years. This is one of the best. Very well done!

I was 16 in 1983 and Shout At The Devil was on top of everyone's list. To this day it's one of the most energetic records out there..It just hit one after the other after the other until Danger closed it out. Something about that album just kicked a little harder through those car stereo speakers.. Everyone was ready to buy Theater of Pain whether it sucked or not and away they went. I still like their first two records the most.

I saw Motley Crue for the first time on the Dr. Feelgood tour in 1990 after years of being a fan! As a drummer I loved seeing Tommy Lee’s drum kit go upside down on my two favorite tracks: Live Wire and Wild Side!!!

42:50 “When they’re 90 years old Motley Crüe will still be touring.” Yep.
