I grew up in Harlan county, and the area went crazy (and rightly so) when he won.

This song was his semi-final performance. After this performance Adam went up and took Jordan's mic and dropped it. Jordan was untouchable that season.

Adam Levine went on stage and dropped the mic., he knew this song sealed the deal. The people were going nuts. <br>Thank you so much, for doing a reaction to this song. It's one of my favorites from Jordan Smith on "The Voice".

Every time I hear this performance, I think back to seeing it live, and EVERYONE knew this locked him in for the win! Amazing soul, dances up and down the scales like it's a walk in the park, gave presence on the stage, gave the guitarist and choir room to shine, and Jordan shined so freaking bright, he went for some notes he wasn't sure he was going to during practice sessions, but he went for it and straight killed this performance!

I loved it when Adam Levine walked up to Jordan after that performance, grabbed the microphone from him and did a mic drop because Jordan didn't have it in him. I really liked his performance doing "With out you" with Usher.. man those two can harmonize beautifully together.
