A lifelong hunter said take a knee if there is time , otherwise between the eyes with 45 - 12ga or rifle . If in thick brush you dont have time to spray & pray .

I live in grizzly bear territory ALASKA, and I'm going to say it, Bear Spray DOES NOT WORK, plain and simple

If you mistakenly rely on Bear Spray, you'll end up in the bear's stomach; I don't care what science or animal experts say, they only talk SHIT, I live in Bear country, my beautiful Alaska, and facts ALWAYS PROVE IT BEAR SPRAY DOES NOT WORK, but if you don't care about your own life or your family's life, then go to wood only with your Shit bear spray and you and your family will be bear's next meal.

If he used bear spray when this bear was in full charge he would be dead.

The chest rig saved lives. If It’s my life on the line I’m carrying .44 Magnum. But, this man may have preferred the semi-auto. The 10 mm in hard cast load is the most popular round sold by Buffalo Bore Ammunition. Not a hollow point.

In the right situation, bear spray is just like a warning shot. It's only going to increase the severity of the attack
