When Josie was “opening up about juvie” she was actually describing the plot of The Hunger Games lmao

The ongoing jokes of the random cage and Hazel not understanding sarcasm throughout the movie were icing on the cake 😂

in an interview for this movie Marshawn said that his sister came out to him while he was in high school and he really regrets how he reacted to it. he has really grown from his initial experience and said that being in Bottoms &quot;felt like this was the universe giving him a chance to right his wrongs...Throughout the film’s shoot in New Orleans, Seligman says, “he kept on bringing up Marreesha.” Especially when Sapp-Lynch and her wife visited the set, she recalls, “He kept on being like, ‘That&apos;s my sister.’ In a way where it was like a proud parent [of queer kids] — a proud brother.” such a sweet man &lt;3

A funny detail that is easy to miss is that every time the college they’re going to is mentioned the name of it changes 😭😂

just to think this whole madness started because hazel doesn&apos;t understand sarcasm lol when she asks how josie broke her arm and PJ jokes about being in juvie that&apos;s when the rumor begins and everything went DOWN

Love you guys pointing out the football team constantly wearing their uniforms to class or outside of school and how weird that is! I always took that as commentary on all the 90s and 00s movies where the cheerleaders did the same thing, and were literally only ever shown in cheer outfits despite real life cheerleaders never doing that bc... duh it is so weird? It&apos;s super subtle in this but the cheerleaders only wear their uniforms while performing but the footballers are always wearing theirs. A very fun trope switch!

This is one of the best movies of the year. The entire cast is hysterical. The fact that Nicholas Galitzine filmed this right before Red White and Royal Blue really shows his talent and range. I love that Emma, Ayo and Rachel went to NYU together. Ayo and Rachel just have amazing chemistry on camera. Rewatching the movie, you really notice the smart and funny shit going on in the background of scenes too.

The fact Nicholas Galitzine went from filming this to filming Red White &amp; Royal Blue the next month is absolutely wild. Talent right there

Marshawn Lynch said his sister came out to him and he didn&apos;t react well. This was one of his ways of making it up to her and giving back to the community.<br>Also I thought they put the football players in full uniform the whole time because teen movies always put the cheerleaders in their uniforms for the whole show because they&apos;re so objectified and one dimensional.

I think the boys are always in uniform because that is how cheerleaders in other movies are portrayed but in reality they only where their uniform on game day
