"I love to repot my plants."
Also him: "Let’s get the bigger pot so I won’t have to repot for two years." xD

You are the person that was used to steer me away from making Thai con climb lmfao. Love that this dropped. Grabbing popcorn

In my experience from growing monstera for 8-9 years, and having adhd and wanting to do ALL sorts of stuff to them, experimenting with any way i can think of to pot, prop and grow them, the crux of getting bigger leaves isn't pot size or moss poles in themselves, it is giving the plant a vertical surface to attach to and climb. I have no patience for moss pole care, and have gotten the best result from letting my monstras climb up a coco fibre pole or even a plank of wood.
If you look at pictures of wild monstera, they are climbers, winding their way up big tree trunks. I think that giving them the "stimuli" if you will, that they are reaching up vertically and with good anchorage for grasping roots, they will begin putting out massive leaves.

Came here to say what others came here to say. The “oh yeah!” When you were tapping the pole down sent me rolling.

I love your videos that span time. They're always so satisfying!

I had a Thai Con that succumbed to a fungal infection. It had just given me its first secondary fenestration... 💔 I planned to let it grow as it wanted to! No moss pole, just a large form Monstera. For the first time, I'm afraid to replace the plant! It really did break my heart to part with her. I don't know how it happened - no other plants were affected. Had it been in her all the time? I don't know. But I'd like to try again. And I'll let her crawl! This was a fabulous transformation, and who knows? In four years I might do the same! 💚
