I know these movie reviews don't perform as well as they deserve to, but just know it's greatly appreciated that you brought them back! I still listen to your old Marvel reviews all the time while I'm working, they're just so relaxing!

Nolan's version of Cyclops actually scared me when I saw him at the cinema. I wasn't expecting him to not utter a word. Just straight up eating the crew. His appearance was also jarring to me for some reason. The worst part was when he got stabbed and started screaming. Such a weird sound

Just gonna add my thoughts for fun:
-I like how you mentioned payoffs, beside you’re 100% right. The payoff feels so good (even if it kinda stalls for an extra 5-10 minutes)
-One thing that I noticed towards the beginning was how every scene had suspense that was incredible even when you kinda know what’s going to happen, you’re still feeling the suspense. I think the score has a lot to do with that.
-talking about casting, it was a little distracting that every single actor was super famous, and it kinda reminded me that I was watching a movie more than it could’ve
