  i have been obsessed with high end audio since i was a teen, &nbsp;unfortunately lifelong poverty has prevented me from experiencing any of<br>it, but if i were to obtain a certain amount of money advance paris would probably be my first entry into that world, read nothing but great stuff about their products

  I was not a huge fan of Advance Paris A10 or A12. Nice, but not great. I heard the X-i1100, however, and fell in love. That was their flagship integrated and solid state to boot! 45watts in class A. This is when I started to turn around with AP. I bought the X-i1100 and haven&apos;t looked back. Still also use my Hegel products. The Apex series I&apos;m happy to see getting great reviews!

  When I get my yet-to-be-received Audel Magika Plus speakers from Sicily and recover from the financial experience, this is one of the integrated amps I&apos;ll be considering when replacing my Denon X4700H, which I&apos;ll use in the meantime as a power source. &nbsp;The speakers are the first high-end component I&apos;ve ever owned, and I can&apos;t wait to get them. &nbsp;I first listened to them at my local stereo/record store (one of only a few in the US) and the next while vacationing on the Italian island.

  Looks like tube rolling or even replacing would be very difficult.

  What are your speaker cables and are they really as stiff as they seem to be?

  A major flaw with Advance Paris are the tubes. Tubes can last 10 hours to 10,000 hours. The units need to have a complicated disassemble to change the tubes. Tube swapping should be simple and easy. Hard pass for me.

  In looking at the specs and differences between the APEX and CLASSIC version of the A10, the vu meters are white with the APEX, yet for some reason they&apos;re blue in your video. What&apos;s going on here? Why is your review version different than what&apos;s listed online @THE ABSOLUTE SOUND ?

  I am really curious if you folks are going to review the Cambridge EVO sitting on the shelf! I have the EVO 150, but considering the SE version or the APEX A10 to pair with my Dail floorstandars (Opticon 6 MKii)… tell me that is what you coming up!
