As the previous owner for the last 12 years I loved watching this video (although slight horror it had been in a bad crash!). It was my dream car which I loved, I spent lots getting it back in top condition so selling was a tough decision. I'm delighted it's going to a good home and will be looked after, take care of her Mark!!

This story was truly touching. I’m so glad I could play a small part in helping. A huge thank you to Porsche Club GB for their support. I’m genuinely delighted that you’re able to drive the car and carry forward memories of your late father. Happy Days! 😀

Your story made me cry - as my MB R129 (500SL) is that special to me and my dad who is now 96 years (young) and no longer driving. THAT vehicle bonded dad & I even closer and will forever stay in our family - as just looking at it in the our garage reminds me of dad driving it for the first time & seeing him grin when he hit the accelerator. So thank you for your story Mark as you & I share the same first name. Being from ‘across the pond’ (USA) we both still share the love of a car that holds memories of our dad’s. Bless you and may your journey forward create more memories with your Porsche and your family. God bless you🙏…

That's the good thing about carpet. Very rarely hear of them getting stolen.
