  I grew up with this documentary series when it aired on TV, and now I've graduated with an engineering degree. I'm so happy that more people are finding out the gems that are hour-long engineering documentaries from way back!

  This documentary really shows how insanely far train engineering has evolved. The speed, precision, and technology behind these machines are honestly mind-blowing. Hard to believe humans built something this fast while still keeping it stable and safe. Fantastic visuals and pacing too.

  Before you comment &quot;Actually...&quot;<br><br>1. This video was produced in 2011 so anything made after that won&apos;t be in this video doesn&apos;t apply.<br>2. China&apos;s Maglev that debuted in 2008 is faster, but it&apos;s still a maglev, nto a train on wheels. Japan&apos;s maglev won&apos;t be in service until 2027, and it&apos;s still a maglev.<br>3. China&apos;s CRH and Fuxing trains and Germany&apos;s DB ICE go faster than this at 350 kmph. but they also came out after 2011, so this video isn&apos;t going to mention it.

  fun fact: the Rocket was such an Engineering masterpiece that it was aired on a special Thomas and friends move: Thomas and the King of The Rails.

  I come from Switzerland. We have the slowest express train in the World: The Glacier Express. The maximum speed is 24 mph

  Interesting upload. I’ve used three times this TGV and I won’t complain is fantastic I didn’t &nbsp;notice any difference à plane and this TGV. &nbsp;Britain have the push point of this innovative technological revolution.
