Shopping for a pin around $2K?
This video follows the same format for each machine: price → ratings → availability → market check → gameplay vibe.

If you own one of these (or you think I missed an obvious $2K banger), drop your pick in the comments — and tell me what you paid + what condition it was in (HUO, shopped, project, etc.). That info helps everybody hunting.

I remember Comet, Joker Poker, Flight 2000, and Firepower from back in the day. I had purchased a Williams Grand Prix about five years ago for $1,700 plus shipping and I absolutely love it. Thank you for a trip down memory lane.

I was expecting this to be a totally unrealistic list that was wildly out of touch with pinball prices today. I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Well thought out and solid list. Well done!

Love this style ranking video! Keep ‘em coming! Being new to the hobby, love suggestions from the more seasoned hobbyists.

Great list! I think around the $2000 is where the pinball market really opens up to you. You can get some amazing games that are worth way more if they are a little banged up and need some work, plus there are lots of solid options that hang out in this price range. Comet would be my choice, but I would definitely buy a Black Hole too if I could find it for $2k!

This is a good list. Laser War is the only table I have yet to play. You also have a new subscriber.

I love these lists but it would be truly helpful to let people know they need to either have someone they can call when it comes to fixing or let them know they will need to spend a good deal of time educating themselves on how to repair them, not the least of which being electronics experience.

Meteor is based off the movie meteor.

I didn’t enjoy Laser War or Embryon, personally. The Comet backglass has a really inappropriate stereotyped depiction of an African-American girl that seems pretty racist by today’s standards, but the game isn’t bad.

I definitely agree with Flight 2000, Alien Poker, Meteor, and Firepower. My buddy just picked up an Alien Poker for $500 on Friday. I managed to acquire an F-14 and a NASCAR for $500 each from the same seller!

Flight 2000! No!! Just no! I wouldn't take it if it was given to me. Not with a ten foot pole. It's a failed game.
