Gyeryong" was presented by Kwon Jung-hwa. King Taejo, who was about to turn his royal carriage around on his way, headed toward Mt. Gyeryong, stating that "relocating the capital is something the powerful aristocratic families dislike." · Construction on Mt. Gyeryong did not continue for the full ten months. Less than a month after construction began, the common people were sent back, followed by the craftsmen, and people were summoned again in the autumn. · Ha Ryun’s memorial on December 11, 1393 — His arguments consisted of nothing more than the claim that “it is not in the center of the country” and a single line regarding Ho Sun-sin’s geomancy. When construction came to a halt, the Annals recorded that “the central and local governments rejoiced greatly.” · The next location proposed by Ha Ryun was Muak, present-day Sinchon at the foot of Ansan Mountain in Seodaemun-gu. In 1394, King Taejo called the construction on Mt. Gyeryong "an act that tormented the people," and even Ha Ryun, who had pushed Mt. Muak, wrote at the end of his written opinion, "Please remain in Gaegyeong." · August 13, 1394: The day of the decision regarding Hanyang — The Seowungwan stated, "Gaegyeong is first, here is second," while the ministers insisted, "If the capital must be moved," it should be here. · In 1398, Jeong Do-jeon died during the Prince's Rebellion; Nam Eun, who had advocated for Mt. Gyeryong, and Sim Hyo-saeng, who had gone to stop the construction, also died on the same day. In 1399, the court returned to Gaegyeong, and Hanyang lost its position as the capital after four years and four months. · In 1404, Ha Ryun raised Mt. Muak again, and the Seowungwan reversed its stance from ten years prior. At dawn on October 6, King Taejong entered Jongmyo Shrine. · Mt.
