I love that you encounter Gaunter in the very beginning of the game and you don’t even realize the significance of his character until you get into Hearts of Stone. Even then, it has most likely slipped your mind that you’ve already met Master Mirror because his character at the time was seemingly insignificant.

I don't know who's power surprised me more. The unseen vampire of Gaunter. I thought we were going to fight the unseen vampire until he left Geralt on 1hp within a split second 😂😭 But then seeing Gaunter make a ghost beg for mercy and freeze time and slowly stick a spoon in someone's eye made me terrified to get on his bad side

For gaunter the name "master of mirrors" is a reference to the many worlds or "spheres" in the witcher universe wouldnt be surprised if he was behind the conjunction of the spheres
