  I&apos;ve gotten a lot of good questions about some of the tech in this run, so I figured I&apos;d make an FAQ pinned comment to cover some of them!<br><br>Q: Why does this run use Dark Urge?<br>A: Playing as Dark Urge isn&apos;t a requirement for this category but it&apos;s faster because it lets us enter Baal&apos;s Temple without facing the Murder Tribunal, which save a lot of time<br><br>Q: Why are you jumping everywhere?<br>A: Having high strength and using Enhance Leap and Feather Fall lets you move much faster than any other movement option in the game and lets us scale buildings and cliffs that we wouldn&apos;t be able to otherwise <br><br>Q: How did you kill Ketheric with so few bombs? <br>A: Bombs in Baldur&apos;s Gate 3 are weird in a few ways that we take advantage of. First, you can throw a bunch of them at once if you put a stack on the ground, so we throw two stacks of 5 each. Second, each bomb will explode multiple times for each instance of damage they take when they go off. In this case that includes the base explosion from throwing them, fall damage from throwing them from a higher platform, and the alchemist fire we put on the ground before we start the fight. Last but not least we wear a ring called the Callous Glow Ring, which adds 2 extra radiant damage to every instance of damage you deal, which in this case not only applies to Ketheric, but also applies to the bombs, further doubling the number of explosions. All together that means that each bomb explodes six times, so this is equivalent to throwing 30 smokepowder bombs at him all at once<br><br><br>Q: Why did you roll four 20&apos;s in a row for the domination rolls in the Morphic Pool? <br> A: This is a benign glitch where if you spam through the beginning of that cutscene fast enough it shows all 20s for those rolls but always fails, even on the DC 20 check. If you actually watch the roll happen it lands on 1, then turns into a 20, but doesn&apos;t show as a critical failure or critical success. I have no idea why that happens and it only happens for this cutscene, but it doesn&apos;t have any impact on this run so I just don&apos;t worry about it<br><br><br>Q: Why didn&apos;t you turn visible when you climbed the brainstem? <br>A: This run was done on Patch 5 and in that version it didn&apos;t remove invisibility when you entered that cutscene. This is still doable on Patch 8 (the latest version) by a slightly more complicated method. You can see how it&apos;s done if you watch Ruby&apos;s run, which was played on the latest version<br><br>Q: Why didn&apos;t you have to wait a turn for the Netherbrain portal open after casting Karsus Compulsion?<br>A: &nbsp;When you cast it while you&apos;re out of combat it&apos;s effectively a surprise round so the first round of combat is really the second round of compulsion<br><br><br>If you have any other question feel free to ask them!
