  This aired in February of 2025 and by September of 2025 University of Florida officially reinstated his stats. &nbsp;THIS interview was the spark. Who hasn&apos;t seen this multiple times 😂.

  I met Mad Max in 1995 when I was a Kid (11-years old) we went to a bunch of Houston Rockets Games back then... After every game we would wait for the players to drive out of the underground parking garage to try and get autographs. Here comes a bright red Ferrari and Max stops and gets out his car with a duffle bag full of game worn Nike shoes. Then myself and a a bunch of other kids gather around as he starts to pass out shoes and autographs them and hands us all game used autograph shoes. After about 20min of him doing this he gets back in his car w/his custom license plate &quot;Mad Maxx&quot; One of the greatest memories of my life!!!! Thank you for making my childhood awesome!!!! Continued Success!!!!! You have been and will always will be one of my favorite players! Keep Talking Shit!!!! : ) - Cheers!

  True story... Back in the 90&apos;s Vernon use to live next door to me in Sugar Land, TX. Apparently, his wife wouldn&apos;t let him drink so he would knock on my door and ask for a beer. He never came inside. He would just chug the beer on my doorstep, hand the bottle back to me and head back to his house. He was always nice and seemed like a chill dude.
