  I like Brits, but you absolutely cannot understand how much we appreciate our independence. How much we will fight for everything. It&apos;s in our blood. It&apos;s nothing to be trifled with.

  Not only is this anthem sung at the beginning of every sporting event, but when a professional singer is performing it, and their microphone cuts out - the entire audience starts singing and continues the song to the end. &nbsp;That is pride in your country.

  I&apos;m a 74-year-old American and I cannot tell you how many times I&apos;ve heard or sung this song. &nbsp;I can tell that every time I watch this video, I get tears in my eyes. &nbsp;I&apos;m so proud of my home, sweet homeland and the American spirit.

  As a descendant of a founding father, I&apos;m very proud of our country. It gives me goosebumps and tears well in my eyes to sing and hear our national anthem. I think of my ancestors on both sides and appreciate what they fought for, so I could grow up in such a beautiful country and have my freedom. ❤❤❤
