I used to swing in my hanging chair & cry to this song over & over & over again!

This album was so ahead of its time. Its amazing we are still hearing it like it was just yesterday. That feeling of Us and Them hums in the back of your mind when you enter into life. The rhythm of life that flows in and out to guide us to our destination that we call the Tree of Life.

I think the responsibility of society is reflected in the last line."But for the price of tea and a slice, the old man died." As a society, we should never allow this to happen.

You gotta love a parent that spends time with their child listening to meaningful quality music.

David Gilmour has more emotion in one string bend than much of modern music slop being put out.

You nailed it. Hypnotic. Beautiful. Dream-like. Late at night, I used to turn off the lights, turn my speakers towards the middle of the room, sit, close my eyes, and just let my ears and mind take me to another reality. Totally ethereal.
