  I was extremely upset with how Dae-ho's character was handled. And It's unfortunate that a mistranslation to English subtitles and dub made his character assassination even worse.

  It really needed an episode like 'hell' from season one, where they flashback style cut to backstories for characters like Dae ho, Nam gyu, Myung gi, player 100, etc to flesh them out more

  See, THIS is why I hated season 3. No, I’m not whining about how all my faves died, I’m annoyed by how poorly-written it was. Killing everyone could’ve been an awesome ending but it didn’t work<br>For example: Do y’all notice how cheap Hyun-ju’s death? She was owning the Hide-and-Seek game only to let her guard down and suddenly get backstabbed? It didn’t even have to happen. Myung-gi didn’t need to go on a killing spree and it didn’t make sense at that point of the story since his priority was protecting Jun-hee. It felt like a cheap way to get rid of Hyun-ju since she would’ve realistically won. Plus, Hyun-ju’s death means nothing for her character. Every other character’s death is directly connected to their storyline or personality, but Hyun-ju’s death says almost nothing besides “she’s so kind she went back for her friends”. I wouldn’t mind Hyun-ju dying as long as it wasn’t so forced and felt like a natural end to her character

  The worst part is, the MC achieved nothing. &nbsp;None of the VIPs even got hurt. &nbsp;The system of rich vs poor didn&apos;t change. &nbsp;After 3 seasons, MC died and achieved nothing. &nbsp;Even the goal of &quot;saving the baby&quot; was only successful because the enemy boss decided to save the baby at the end, he didn&apos;t have to.<br><br>What a absolutely waste of time.<br><br>Why would anyone watch Squid Game America? &nbsp;More deaths for nothing achieved?

  1. Main character had nothing to do during S3<br>2. Police man&apos;s storyline lead to nothing<br>3. CGI baby took away all stakes<br>4. Tension was allocated between a bunch of random characters in final game<br>5. Everyone became cold blooded murderers in S3<br>6. Nothing was changed in a meaningful way

  The thing I hated most was the fact that Gi Hun had a WHOLE ASS DAUGHTER that he hasn’t seen in like 2 years or something but he was willing to give up (and he literally did) his life for this goddamn baby he met 3 days ago. Like talk about a dad beat dad holy fuck LMAO. <br><br>And the fact that he refused to kill those people before the last game even though like 2 episodes prior, IN COLD BLOOD, he killed the poor guy who pretended to be a marine. Like yeah, it was shitty to lie about being a marine but he just wanted to belong and he wanted to help. He was struggling. And so killing him in cold blood was totally cool to Gi Hun but not those other guys because he’s just so pure. Like give me a fucking break. And it’s not like Gi Hun could have avoided any more killing because he knew more people had to die if he wanted the baby to make it out of there. <br><br> I don’t think I blame the original show creator for this mess though, I feel like it was the evil Netflix overlords who pushed it and all they cared about was their stupid advertisement of the stupid American spin -off.

  i agree on everything...Dae Ho is my favorite character and they messed my boy up SOOO bad. The first two episodes were just Gi Hun and Dae Ho ragebaiting each other.

  said this before but i&apos;ll say it again u can tell this show was supposed to be 1 season<br> <br>-this season gihun didnt even feel like an mc he felt like a babysitter once he took the baby <br> <br>-the grandma suicided out of nowhere? like she had no signs of being suicidal if anything she was fine with dying if it meant SAVING someone like the mother but then she just suicides just because???(and its more wild cause if you know the final game she could have had a character moment of growth and sacrificed herself for the baby and that way gihun and the dad leave scott free??) <br> <br>-player 120 could have lived, u mean to tell me two stabs to your hip does you in and your a marine??? she died for shock value and it backfired theres no way she couldn&apos;t have at the least took 333 with her <br> <br>-PLAYER 100 YES THE HATED BY THE COMMUNITY PLAYER 100 GOT MORE SCREENTIME AND LINES THAN FUCKING GIHUN????. <br> <br>-gi hun didnt even speak till like the 2-3rd episode and by then it was only cause of dae-ho and their redundant and repetitive ass writing cycle of &quot;U KILLED THEM, NO U KILLED THEM, NO U KILLED THE-&quot; <br> <br>-minsu and namgyu got done dirty, minsu&apos;s development goes from being a innocent boy to being a victim to being a druggie which quickly gets annoying,and namgyu just becomes a worser thanos because the writers realized he was a fan favorite so they concocted a replacement in namgyu, again proof the writing nosedived after the break <br> <br>-gihun&apos;s development is literally &quot;i didnt kill them, i did kill them, he killed them&quot; rinse and repeat until his development halts <br> <br>-all the good characters died by like ep4 so ur stuck with randoms that serve no purpose like how did NONE of the well liked characters become finalists yet DRUGGIE MINSU MAKES IT IN? and the icing on the cake is the s2 characters died before actually having substance like the s1 characters so again they&apos;re ultimately? WASTED. <br> <br>-333 IS THE WORST VILLIAN KNOWN TO MAN AND THE FACT THE BIG SEASON PLOT IS THIS SUCKS <br> <br>-the frontman got no backstory or development aside from one flashback, and it could&apos;ve been excused if he was a minor character but in s2&apos;s first half they made him a pretty major character especially in gihun&apos;s development, so it feels weird to suddenly reduce him to only showing up for the beginning and end of the season <br> <br>-gihun never finds out junho is the frontman&apos;s brother??? <br> <br>-junho being nothing more than a plot consuming time wasting father that has a child dumped on him is actually proof the writing nosedived inbetween the break between this and s2&apos;s first half <br> <br>-the vip&apos;s are annoying and no one and i mean NO ONE liked them, it feels like your watching a reaction to the show your already watching <br> <br>-the games also suck,i hate to say it but the games are a big part of why people like this show and its funny how with every season the games get progressively worse, like all the games in s1 were well thought out and thrilling, then in s2 they get more fun with the six legged marathon and mingle, and then in s3 u get jump rope,tag,and squid game:air edition(again, im guessing they ran out of time and couldn&apos;t write in better ones) <br> <br>-might be a nitpick, but gihun&apos;s &quot;we are not horses&quot; line feels so shoved in...like im sorry for a series that had the GANBU episode in s1, i expected better man... <br> <br>-gihun and the frontman&apos;s big dialogue moment is 2 minutes in a 56m-1hr long episode...for comparison the baby and player 100 got more screentime <br> <br>-most of the plots that happen this half is recycled from s1, hell they even brought back saebyok to repeat the &quot;mister...your a good guy&quot; moment<br><br>-gihun was willing to off daeho for a misunderstanding but not willing to kill the PEOPLE WHO WANTED HIM AND A BABY DEAD?? he just conveniently remembered saebyok??? <br> <br>-lastly above all, the baby was the worst thing to happen to this season and it shows. <br> <br>all in all? should&apos;ve ended in s1

  Jun-ho become one of my favorite characters since season 1. I can’t believe they just completely wasted him.

  in season 2 the main char was written as a “fake hero” in a sense that he’s doing everything to participate and it doesn’t come from actually wanting to save people, he loves the thrill of it all but in season 3 they just made him dumb 💀<br><br>They literally killed off hyun-ju cuz they didn’t know what to do with such OP fucking character dude<br><br>it would’ve made sense if the mother of the child (I forgot her name) died and hyun-ju had survived to be the mother of the mother’s kid in Thailand
