What Makes it Fine Art Photography?

  I totally agree with your analysis! Fine-Art photography to me is always about the story. The subject I want to discuss with the viewer. The optical journey I want their eyes to take on the frame or on a series of images. Regardless if they are a sequence or not. There is a misconception in social media that fine-art photography is just landscapes and long exposures and HDR images. If you study photography you learn the true fine-art photography which is all about the artist behind the camera. Like a painter who expresses his emotions on a canvas. Unfortunately its rare to find people who truly produce true fine-art photography or even show their work.

  Love the philosophy behind your work. Just losing yourself in the moment in time when composing an image is so special. All life's issues fade out of view for a few minutes. Love your work.

  1 image a month is all you need. &nbsp;So very true &quot;Twelve images a year is a good crop&quot; (Ansel Adams). &nbsp;I&apos;m so happy that Lexar are in business having been bought out I was worried that they would stop producing cards, I&apos;ve been using them for the last 7 years and they are superb.<br>I definitely love your definition of what is Fine Art, &quot;what is your intention behind the work&quot;.

  Completely agree. You out of many I&apos;ve seen speak on the subject finally make sense. Concepts, ideas and stories with artistic and thematic INTENT makes fine art photography imho (I&apos;m a relative photography noob but a long time artist). A lot of pretention , of course around this and most other areas when labelling of things is a thing;).. great video and lovely work. 🙏
