Most of the people in this video are from the 19th century, they lived through the victorian era and the two world wars,we are used to seeing them in black and white footages and completely silent, it's nice to hear and see them in colour.

I always find film about the Coronation very emotional, i was born on that day, and very close to Westminster Abbey.<br>My poor mum was looking forward to watching it on the telly, my grandad had hired a telly for the day, and just as the Coronation started she went into labour, and everyone dashed up to the hospital and never got to see it. Mum, you will be forever loved and in our hearts.

Cant help thinking about the QE2s coronation in 1953 and funeral procession in 2022. What a long fullfilling and extraordinary life she had.

This looks professionally restored for a 1953 print. I was 2 years old when this happened. She was beautiful then and should always be remembered as such.
