This is in 1982. She was 50 going on 51. She lost a lot of weight soon after, and then became renowned for her perfumes Passion, and White Diamonds. One of the first and most successful and enduring celebrity perfumes. She actually had a lot of talent to boot, unlike many modern celebrities.

Love this interview from 1976, I can hear her speak all day. She has such a pristine, elegant, regal, renaissance yet childlike playful tone in her voice. Her transparency and personality is beyond extraordinary. Love that is talking to the director George Stevens son, whom she made two of her iconic legendary films with. Giant and A Place in the Sun. Nothing phony, artificial or fake about Elizabeth Taylor. True beauty and feminine prettiness, inside and out.
