  Bought the original Who album in 1974 (I was 15), saw the film in 1979, and have loved it and the soundtrack album to the film ever since. American here.

  Seeing Mark (DC Carver) Wingett and Timothy Spall sooo young, and Ray Winstone virtually unrecognisable lol.

  Old scooter boy here. Quadrophenia was a film you had to watch at some point. &nbsp;We were all mods or skins punks etc but we all watched this film. I’m still riding, building old lammies like it’s in my blood.<br>Any hoo … sat my daughter down and watch it with her a while back. Half way through she asked… “what’s this film actually about dad”?…<br>At the end, I asked her take. She said, “well… Jimmy is a dickhead and Steph is a slag”!<br><br>She’s nailed it 🤣🤣🤣

  I was a biker in the early 80s and we all watched it. Brilliant film. It was on the tele a few weeks back and i watched it again for about the 8th time.

  The &apos;revival&apos; was a Southern thing. Up here in the North we&apos;d never stopped Scootering. Lambretta GP 218 Quattrini.

  My other half recalls after going to watch the film on its release, that he went directly to the ladies hairdressers (because in those days the ladies hairdressers made you look as you would have liked to look to the ladies) to have his hair bleached and cut just like Sting. Fast forward all these years to today, he has always had a scooter, sometimes fell out of love with some of the D-heads on the scene but never fell out of love with his scooters. This morning was spent fitting a new light switch and all of what entails to his newly bought TV175 Lambretta. To all who knew him along the way, some of whom are no longer with us, RIP Matthew Shenton (Sid). Keep the Faith, it never leaves you.

  One of the best British actors of the past 40 years appears quickly in this video, and had a very minor part in the movie, Timothy Spall.

  I saw the Who perform Quadrophenia on tour in 1973. My first real concert at 14. It changed my life. The best 75p I&apos;ve ever spent.

  Brilliant film &amp; sound track , i was part of the revival ,best yrs of my life for 4/5 yrs goin on the runs, the fashion, music ,scoots , classic quotes.............. &nbsp; &nbsp;I don&apos;t wanna be the same as everybody else. That&apos;s why I&apos;m a Mod, see?

  I remember a lot of hype because Sting was cast, when I saw the film I thought he was disappointing
