  turned 30 last year but this month I really feel like I Turned Thirty. getting my shit together, replacing bad habits with good ones, and forgiving myself for the past while praising myself for moving towards the future. siempre se puede!

  I just entered a relationship for the first time of my life. Went 25 years thinking I wasn't worthy of love. Went most of my life thinking I was too weird to be deserving of love. I don't feel comfortable talking about this kind of stuff with friends ty for the mix and the opportunity to share. Hope everyone else doing well out there.

  I lost my boyfriend of nine years. Its been over two years since then. I have been having a rough time. I been going to therapy, made new friends, been going to gym. Days are hard but its getting a little better each day. Do not give up, there are people out there who are counting on you. Love yourself and the world will love you back.

  Not quite as deep as some of y'all's comments, but I will say that this was the perfect mix for a long-overdue deep cleaning of my bathroom. Thanks for the motivation! Bathroom is spotless again.

  My mum passed away about a month ago. Cancer. Even at the best of times, I was more of a parent to her than she was for me. I&apos;ve spent most of my life playing catch-up to my peers because of how the neglect and abuse messed with me. I finally have started to really make a lot of progress, and the last thing holding me back was the shadow of my mother. I love her a lot despite it though, even if the good things about her I hadn&apos;t seen since I was a child. If anyone else out there is struggling with abuse, neglect, or being a caretaker- it&apos;s okay to have conflicting feelings. You can love someone enough to care for them selflessly, while still being frustrated that you&apos;re having to, or that no one is helping. You can both never want that person to die, but also wish they would die tonight so you would be free from the burden of caring for them. It&apos;s okay to feel bitter or frustrated when you&apos;re not being treated right, or are having to give way more for someone than they can give back anymore. That doesn&apos;t make you a bad person, and it doesn&apos;t belittle or negate the love you feel or felt for that person. It&apos;s okay to have complex feelings. It&apos;s okay to not forgive, or not be ready to forgive. It&apos;s okay to be angry. <br><br>Take a deep breathe, and allow yourself to feel how you really feel. It&apos;s okay. You&apos;re not a bad person for being upset by an unfair situation. You&apos;re a saint for putting yourself through it in the first place, all for the sake of someone else.

  My life&apos;s been a story in two halves, 1980-2020 was a downward spiral. I found Jesus and recovery around 2020 and now I have a good job, a great wife, 2 great kids and 2 velvety lovely cats. Techno has been with me since 1998. Today I&apos;m praying for the future of my country and trying not to get dragged down into negativity, and generally doing okay. I&apos;m working out most every day and watching what I eat, as Huey Lewis sang, but I don&apos;t get as much time as I&apos;d like to record music. If I can get a walk in now and then and read a good book, it&apos;s a good week. Looking forward to growing old and trying to stay strong and healthy, but God has his plans. Peace everyone. I&apos;m going to chill here a while.

  Newborn just turned 4 weeks old. Life has been crazy ups and downs, but we&apos;re both taking it one day at a time. Getting in a lot of practice apologizing, letting things go, and being gentle with each other. Also have a massive break from work thanks to many years of paying my dues with my company. Grateful this morning to have some breathing room in the form of this internet checkpoint 😉👌
