  Frank makes a great point- the cops aren&apos;t there to get your checks settled. Either prosecute or keep a closer eye on tabs being run up.

  My aunt thought everyone knew her. It was bizarre, I remember we went to a restaurant and she told the waitress &quot;ill have my usual&quot;. The waitress was like ma&apos;am im sorry but I don&apos;t know what your usual is. My aunt came unglued and demanded to see the manager. Told him she wants her meal for free because she was so deeply offended. She was yelling and being unreasonable the manager asked her to leave instead. It was probably one of the most embarrassing moments ever

  10 years of retail taught me that prosecuting shoplifters gets the word out to the practicers of shoplifting to stop stealing from your business. I prosecuted shoplifters in DC and our loss ratio dropped by 90%

  People who refuse to give their name should be placed in a cell and told &apos;I&apos;ll be back in an hour&quot;. Then come back in an hour and ask their name &quot;NO&quot;. &nbsp;Okay&quot; I&apos;ll be back in two hours&quot; &nbsp;And so on!
