  My favorite part was the hike itself. It&apos;s beautiful for those of us who are unable to get out in the area. &nbsp;Any finds are just icing on the cake.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMoSl51wRbM&amp;t=210">3:30</a> Best thing you can do if you think you see a mountain lion or any large predator is get as noisy as you can (not get quiet). &nbsp;They don&apos;t like noise, and if they&apos;re not hunting you, your noise scares them off.

  For someone like me living on a different continent and a whole different climate, everything about this semi-arid forest alone was just magical. The cactus flowers and the petroglyphs were just the icing on the already very tasty cake 😍Thanks so much for taking us along!

  I would have been sorely tempted to just sit on that cliff-top and spend my day admiring that view. Even the sky was impressive.
