  Hey, A320 pilot here. This looks amazing. Well done guys. I can&apos;t believe you even decided to put leather on the side boxes, like in the real aircraft. Great attention to detail.

  Always pre-drill the hole for the screw with a small drill bit to make some clearance for the actual screw.<br>This prevents the splitting of the wood :)

  When i did my cockpit the most immersive part was the Base speaker bolted to the underside of my seat and when you lowered the gear you could feel every movement and on landing feel every bump.

  Many years ago I built a kitchen with an engineer that built pilot training sims. Because the kitchen wasn&apos;t square, level or all that well plastered Paul opted to go with his sim building methodology. He had three tape measures, one red, one blue and one white. Each was attached to a known, fixed point, in this case the kitchen door frame. He then worked out where a corner of the cooker needed to be in 3d space, used each of the three tapes to fix that point in space and went to work plotting out the major features of the kitchen, each in turn measured with three tapes to plot the points in space... the days before laser measures...

  I was looking for a youtuber that could make a diy cockpit as i wanted to make one but didn&apos;t know how but now i got the patreon print from sim guy and got a laser cutting company things are more easier now Thank you guys for your guys support and the Interest i will 100% be using this way to build an flight sim cockpit

  Great job , brings back a lot of memories, when I was right out of high school I worked for a major aircraft manufacturer for years I worked directly with the designer/engineering department we built full size aircraft out of wood to make sure everything fit I was lucky enough to build a few cockpits for different types of aircraft to exact skill
