I think the bit about purpose is probably the most important part of the whole conversation. Retirement gives you freedom, but freedom without something to get up for can turn into a trap pretty quickly. <br> <br>What I like here is that neither of you is pretending there’s one correct way to retire. Gym, travel, cooking, YouTube, a night out, even sleeping until <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pH4c1Awf788&t=150">2:30</a> in the afternoon occasionally 😂 If it keeps you engaged with life, it’s probably doing its job. <br> <br>The only rule I’d add is: don’t retire from living.
