  I can still smell the clam cakes and the hot grease from the ride on the hot summers days while at the park.<br>Thanks for the memories; they will never faid.

  As a former Rhode Islander, Rocky Point was a part of my childhood too. This really takes me back and I&apos;m glad to have been able to partake in its rich history. So sad it is no longer there for future generations to appreciate.

  Who&apos;s here in 2025 re-watching this just to remember you&apos;re childhood I really miss this place. I grew up in rhode island this was a every weekend adventure with my mom my brother and sister man the memories i had at this place

  California here, I moved to California in 1977. I grew up in in RI. I have many memories from this place. Near and dear to my heart.

  That was the first place I ever ate cotton candy. First flume and first coaster that went upside down too.

  &quot;All the way from providence.&quot; Wow how times have changed. I am 34 and grew up in Charlestown. I&apos;d never been to rocky point or even heard of it until well after it closed. It would have been like an hour drive. My parents would never. We RARELY went on the highway at all. 😂 Nowadays I have to take the highway from Cranston where I am now and drive for almost an hour to visit them parent😂

  Turning the corner and seeing the sign! &nbsp;The commercial on TV. &nbsp;The flume! &nbsp;I remember when they first built The Enterprise. &nbsp;The Shore Dinner Hall. &nbsp;So many memories!!

  This is one of the most bittersweet documentary videos I&apos;ve ever seen. Wonderful to look back on so many fond memories of Rocky Point, but also extremely sad to see it&apos;s demise. Seeing the entry gate torn down in the end was utterly crushing. &nbsp;The park deserved so much better. You wouldn&apos;t think an amusement park could mean so much to some of us, but damn, this really hit home. Thanks for doing this, VERY well done.

  I&apos;m from New York City and was lucky to have made it to Rocky Point Park one summer in &apos;86. I rode many rides, but for some reason remember the Musik Express vividly. They were all fun. It was a fun day in my life. ❤ Thank you memorializing this experience for people and families who remember RPP.
