  I have a theory, Mario can travel in alternate universes, but each time he tries to go back home he goes to a different universe but he can’t find a home.

  Tabuu is clearly the manifestation of what the creator thinks of himself when people believe that he should not be in video games because he's a grown man so taboo is actually how he should called because sakurai believes that he should not be playing with Nintendo characters anymore but he knows their part of his life but to everyone else he could be considered highly childish so taboo is the ultimate example of his childhood basically wanting to be part of his adult hood

  For the Metroids and Mr. Saturn thing.<br>They can’t be related via ancestry. Metroids are an artificially created species. They were created by the Chozo for the sole purpose of killing the X Parasites. If they were to be related, that would imply the Mr. Saturn species was also created by the Chozo.

  I think a better theory for what galeem and darkhon symbolize is the constant struggle foe superiority inherent when playing with siblings, one likely symbolizes the older more experienced sibling while the other is meant to be the younger one. This would be further supported by the fact that only after one of them us weakened enough that the other comes out to take over wrestling control away from their counterpart.

  Ok. I have a theory about the last one. What if the Subspace was a type of dimensional barrier if you will? Like The Bleed from DC. What if Darkhon &amp; Galeem were able to enter the Smash World due to us defeating Tabuu who was acting as a sort of embodiment of restraining balance between darkness &amp; light, complete control &amp; complete chaos? I Mean even his character design fits thematically. He&apos;s a being of light trying to engulf the world in darkness. He seeks to turn them into trophies and bring order while the subspace itself is completely chaotic (i.e. the maze of doors/worlds).
