  AFTER WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY AS A PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS AND NOW  RETIRED, THIS FILM MADE ME  FEEL ALIVE AGAIN. WE ALWAYS HAVE TO DEAL WITH TIME.

  these are the kinds of shows that should be airing on national tvs instead of toxic news and events. this gives us insights on how high fashion brands and exclusive haute couture is expensive

  All these people on the team seem so devoted to the process and deep into the creative aspect of creating designs.  Basically a bunch of curious and talented people.

  I can see why there were co-directors chosen by Oscar de la Renta:  Fernando has great finesse and talent in verbally articulating the brand vision, while Laura has the acuity and precision in the visual aesthetic aspect.  They do complement each other

  My first gown was Oscar 55 years ago. I pray my last gown will be Oscar. The artistry, quality and timeless elegance still take my breath away. I wish a more formal life would return to our culture as the lost art of dressing is so uplifting and self affirming.

  Oscar de la Renta has long been acknowledge to be the couturier of "luxe". This documentary shows us the detailed vision, research, and artistry and global connections to bring beautiful clothes to the runway. I am interested in style, not as a consumer but as someone who appreciates beauty.

  This was a treat.  As a model I had the honor of wearing Ms. Kim's graduating designs from Pratt 20-plus years ago and her skill and eye were impeccable then.  She could not afford to pay me but as a favor to her professor and a great friend who worked under Mr. de la Renta, Christopher Hunte, I traded the work for skirts.  I still wear those pieces she designed for me to this day and receive many compliments.  She was always destined to lead a great fashion house.  Brava!
