  In Fifth edition, the chaos army starter army was 12 chaos warriors, 5 chaos knights and a chaos lord. It was 1k points.<br>They were nigh unstoppable in melee.

  I have beginner armies for Orcs&amp;Goblins, Tomb Kings, Chaos Warriors and I&apos;m half way through building one for Beastmen. &nbsp;I use the Warhammer border patrol rules so each army is just 500pts; but as a beginner army I simplify things further by using no standards, champions or musicians and no magic items for units or heroes. &nbsp;My aim is to keep things simple - if you are not familiar with the rules you want to avoid as much of the detail as you can to prevent your first few battles becoming an exercise in drudgery.

  Going to check this out. &nbsp;3D printing bases with the units names on them and even have the Mark they have on them. Then I can use the base for the minis if I go with the army

  Cracking video, you should work at GW and do their promotional work for their Old World armies. Also I&apos;ve just finished removing the mold lines from the entire Warriors of Chaos Old World batalion box and I swear you get 33 Warriors of Chaos on foot instead of the advertised 32. Bonkers.

  Thanks for the video! I resumed this hobby as I gave it up back in the days, when I was 17ish. Now, I&apos;m 41... I watch painting tutorial videos to grasp the best way of painting my minis (it&apos;s amazing how painting pulls me into its many hours of joy, hahaha).<br><br>I came across your channel and I felt that lovely kind of nostalgia while you were explaining the Chaos army ...   The thing i like about the WoC batallion box is that you can easily get a little over 2k pointsjust by tweaking thins a little bit
