I love that half-way through he loses track of if it's up or down a few levels

If I were a Jedi during order 66 I’d definitely hide somewhere in the lower levels

Assuming 3m height per level, the top level is 16km from the planets surface. On Earth, this would be at the tropopause, the highest that vertical air motion can go. The tops of the highest clouds stop at this height. I'm sure the construction upward has changed the nature of the Coruscant atmosphere, but it's still ridiculous.

I find Coruscant to be such a fascinating setting. There are probably entire nation states down there that no one has interreacted with in Millennium. And given how neglected the very lowest levels are, one wonders how long it would take for something to break in a way that couldn't be fixed and bring the 5000+ levels above crashing down. Like say, a support pillar on Level 1 snaps.

I wonder if it would be possible to make a timeline as to when levels were added. Everyone calls the Jedi Temple ancient, yet it's on the top level.

An interesting thought comes to mind. What about negative levels? Level 1 is just the surface. What if theres more under that?

"only shows the surface" while showing a clip from attack of the clones where anakin dives into the lower levels in pursuit of zam wessell
