  I saw this game on TV. It was blacked out in the Chicago area, so we had to drive to Rockford and watch it in a motel room.

  In 1965 they drafted two generational players: MLB Dick Butkus and the Kansas Comet, Gale Sayers. A few short years later, in 1970 they were tossing a coin with the 1-13 Steelers to see who got Terry Bradshaw. They lost of course and wound with the immortal George Farmer WR extraordinaire who totaled 1995 yards and 10TDs over 6 seasons.<br>The Steelers went on to glory, the Bear went on to oblivion. Although they did manage to find a pretty decent halfback in the 1975 draft.

  1963 - Mike Ditka plays for Chicago in their last Championship win until they win again in 1985, coached by Mike Ditka.

  I was 12 y/o....game blaked out...listened the entire game on a hand held transistor radio...I was in heaven

  I saw this game on live TV when I was a boy, and I could only recall that Bill Wade and the Bears beat Y. A. Tittle and the Giants. I wonder how many of those turnovers were related to cold hands. Bill Wade spoke to our elementary school, Hamilton, in Nashville a few months later. Years later, as a banker, he spoke at Nashville Central High School about banking. &nbsp;He was a fine man, and perhaps Vandy&apos;s most beloved footballer for many years. The narration was entertaining. Thanks for sharing!
