  This was definitely interesting, &nbsp;girls around my way from ages 18 to 28 tend to wear white sneakers, dirty white sneakers and or what ever is currently trending on tiktok and usually the same color ways, so I have a tendency to discard there opinions on footwear.

  Before Crocs became popular, they were used in the movie &quot;Idiocracy&quot;. For those who don&apos;t know, Idiocracy is set in the future and all people are just generally idiots. They needed to save budget &nbsp;money on wardrobe for the movie, so they found these hideous shoes from a startup company to put on all the people. The writer/director (Mike Judge) asked the wardrobe director &quot;But what if by the time the movie comes out these shoes have become popular?&quot; to which she responded &quot;No one would ever wear these things. They&apos;re horrible.&quot;
