  Note: some of these bugs have already been fixed, so expect things to run more smoothly when trying it out.  Alot of mechanics for shell normalization have also been improved since I posted this.

  I don't know whenever this proves that "spaced armor works" or "Sprocket doesn't work"

  months ago i made &quot;stalinium&quot;, a mesh that&apos;s hundreds of 1mm plates spammed at +/-5° angles, since sprocket makes any shot ricochet at &gt;85°, regardless of thickness, inside of a 25° elevation to target, it makes it so you always have a plate that&apos;s at least at this angle of incidence, making it completely unpenetrable.<br>all while being about as light as a 35mm plate

  I have a idea, after they fix the bugs and make the update. They should make it to where the armor can wear out after getting shot at a couple of times in the same spot.

  Finally! Like a year ago I made spaced &quot;composite&quot; armour on many &quot;MBTs&quot; for historical snd style reasons. It&apos;s super cool that they will finally have an actual functional advantage! Hopefully this gets refined to be more accurate.

  man every time I look at sprocket development, I get more impressed. I remember when it was super barebones.

  I made &quot;composite armor&quot; with this new system in the game and it&apos;s basically impenetrable while still maintaining a reasonable weight. I hope this game expanded beyond WW2 tech someday so we can have HEAT and APDS/APFSDS and maybe thermals and proper composite armor design. <br><br>The shell designer they talked about before would also be pretty cool. I could imagine to make it work for HEAT you could have to manually adjust the shape, size, and position of the copper liner and for APFSDS you&apos;d have to adjust the shape, diameter, length, sabot shape/size, etc of the round.
