I still can't believe we got a boss fight against a SENTIENT TRAIN in a Sonic game. Like, it sounds like something completely in line for the series, but also unpredictable. We've seen trains, we've fought sentient robots, so how could we not have seen this possibility.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. I’m afraid our train trip has come to a very robotic interruption. But not to worry, for I will solve this situation before we get to our stop!”

I love how sonic leaps forward for a boss fight and then it just cuts to the title card saying he died.

I like Sonic's grin at the end, like it's his "game face".

0:23 Honestly, I think there's something really cool about making him gain speed slowly instead of just making him start at top speed immediatly like a lot of other people who animate Sonic do. I dunno, it feels really smooth to look at.

I just like how casual Sonic takes off to catch up to the train. it's like the train is moving so slow he might as well have some fun getting back.
